Did you know that you can get Patron-only episodes? We’re working on recording chapters of horror novels, and the first is Edgar Allan Poe’s only novel, The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket. Here is a preview for you all–our first episode that includes an author biography, a reading of the preface, and a literary analysis.

We promised you three episodes this month, and we’re delivering it! Enjoy this special Halloween treat from the master of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe. “The Tell-Tale Heart” is a classic story of savagery and madness. Thanks to Rob Lucas for his amazing job reading this week!
This is Part 1 of 2 in our collection of poetry dedicated to the topic of death. Unfortunately, we all face death throughout our lives, and many poets have written about the experience. Enjoy “Despair” by H.P. Lovecraft, “I heard a Fly buzz – when I died” by Emily Dickinson, “Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe, and “Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night” by Dylan Thomas.
Fear not! We’re cleaning the blood off of the finale of Progenix Labs, and it will be out this month!
We also have plenty of Classic Tales in store for you during 2016, and yes, many of them aren’t going to be by Poe. Bear with us as we give you one more work by the master of the macabre. We noticed that we made a mistake with the first Classic Tale: that one is titled “Silence–A Fable,” and this one is titled “Shadow–A Parable.” We got the subtitles mixed around. It should be fixed now! Enjoy this creepy, early Poe story about darkness, shadows, and death.
Episode 11 of Progenix Labs, entitled “Beginnings and Endings,” will be out around the 9th or 10th or this month. We appreciate your patience! In the meantime, how about one of the most famous tales in all of Gothic literature?
We’ve given Poe quite a bit of love lately, but there’s a reason he’s one of the best known writers in the genre of horror. Tonight our very own Emily Morgan, voice of Ms. Yvette Hartman in Progenix Labs, offers a chilling rendition of the classic poem that made Poe famous but only earned him only $9 for its publishing.
While our amazing voice actors work their magic on the 11th episode of Progenix Labs, enjoy a much more well known classic tale by the master of horror, Edgar Allan Poe. In his story “The Masque of the Red Death,” a prince ignores a terrifying plague that is killing most of his town’s population. Instead, he gathers a group of his wealthy friends to wait out the disease. If you know anything about Poe’s work, I imagine you can guess how that might work out for him.
We will release new episodes twice a month on the 1st and 15th. Episode 10 of Progenix Labs will release on May 15th.
